The granite crystal definitely does have a gray brown look and the max steel has a black blue look under the right conditions. Not many shots out there or vids especially together so my friend and i made one. However i like granite better than maximum steel all other times and all other times are most of the time so i went with granite. I m told that the max steel is lighter than the granite.

In the right light it almost gets a purple tint to it.
